PRODUCTS
From The Scroll develops spiritually enriching entertainment. Our inspiring and challenging products include a mixture of board games and card games for playing on table tops, digital platforms and online in apps. Our line currently includes mixtures of chance (randomly selected from a card deck), match, roll & move, strategy, competitive, cooperative, and trivia games.
PASSION
The Word of God, which was first written on scrolls, remains the source of our passion for establishing From The Scroll Games. Ministering God’s Word is the main reason for these games. The scrolls (Scriptures) are the main attraction; no Scriptures, no games. By presenting Scripture in an inviting package that is engaging, mind stirring and heart piercing, the Holy Spirit is allowed to impress them upon our hearts and minds.
RECEPTION
Prototypes of games created at home were taken to church to play during youth activities and multi-generational fellowships. They were also played at special gatherings such as baby showers and birthdays. The games were always well received. After years of dreaming about going into business, in 2015 From The Scroll became a limited liability corporation. Over the years God abundantly graced us with creativity. We now have over 20 games, in various forms of development, being shared with family, friends, churches, youth ministries and senior facilities.
DEMOGRAPHICS
Our target for From The Scroll is fun seeking players who desire to create a hunger and thirst for righteousness within their relationships. They value quality time with those they love and are willing to spend money on products that help to impact their family, friends, and communities with faith-based values. Our customers want to focus on building a knowledge of and a love for the Bible even while joyfully connecting through challenging social amusement and entertainment. Fruitful family fun, faith and fellowship is had by all.
Therefore, there are five groups our company plans to target. We will market to children from as young as 8 years. They want to play for fun, for escape, for thrills, for enjoyment, for the challenge. Their parents (ages 25-45), those of young preteens, want to establish cherished family time and traditions. Many of them crave the entertainment of game playing. Grandparents (ages 60-75) also want to be entertained and bond with grandchildren, promoting family traditions and reunions. They are also couples who seek connections with one another after their nests are empty. Our targeted audience also includes churches (Sunday schools, youth groups, retreats, vacation bible school (VBS)) and Christian schools. This would also include from day-cares, to summer camps, to college common rooms, to YMCA’s, to community centers. Since children aren’t the only age group that find learning easier when mixed with fun and games, senior care facilities are also part of our demographics. From The Scroll games will generate conversations of memories and shared experiences.
